Un nouveau trio débarque dans nos oreilles au pas de course. LoVe On the Beat est un groupe à la fraicheur californienne, aux paroles anglaises étourdissantes mais tout droit venu de notre belle capitale, Paris. On découvre aujourd’hui leur tout premier clip pour le titre We Run dans lequel les trois acolytes s’adonne à un footing à travers les campagnes de France. Un morceau disponible dès aujourd’hui, ce qui devrait ensoleillé un peu notre été.

Probably the greatest team ever assembled in sports history, the 1992 USA Olympic basketball team celebrated their 20th anniversary with this never seen before insight of their road to the gold.
"2012 marks the 20th anniversary of the 1992 U.S. Olympic basketball team which has been regarded by most as the greatest team every assembled. Filled with lots of personality clashes and intense rivalry amongst the players (Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson to name a few) The Olympic dream team had a rocky start before it went on to dominate all the competing countries and emerged as the champions. Humbling experiences let this team know that they always had to play to win, and they learned those lessons after early struggles. This goes to show that not only it wasn’t always perfect for the squad, but that all these athletes fed off adversity and competition unlike any Olympic team before and after. MJ’s physical and mental endurance was so much on full display that interviews of fellow players showed that they were even in awe of not only his basketball ability, but how he conducted himself on a minute-to-minute basis. They were amazed at his stamina. For young basketball fans, NBA TV’s The Dream Team is a great look into Jordan and all of the greats from a generation earlier, as they will grow an appreciation for the type of effort and charisma each of these players showed on a daily basis. Plus, the documentary makes it clear that The Dream Team changed the game of basketball not just in the NBA, but on a global scale, as international players took pictures and shook hands of NBA players during games. The international growth of the game of basketball led to the influx of foreign players in the NBA." (source)

The Roots new concept album is out now. This album starts deals with the story of a young man (a fictional character). It starts with his death then goes on with the life of that kid that led to him being Undun. Here's the album short film presentation. The Roots never had a wack album in their career. Can't go wrong with this legendary crew.

"undun is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999). Through the use of emotives and Redford’s internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out ‘on the corner’. Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented–postmortem–and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun."
